Hi. My name is Fred. I am a fifty one year old Louisiana Choctaw Indian. By profession,
I earn a living as a high school science teacher and have for twenty-eight years. I have
Been married to the same great person for thirty years and we have two sons (26&22).
My favorite poet is Rod Mckuen and I love to read about the mythology of Joseph Campbell.
I like the outdoors, painting, iconology ( the study of symbols and their meanings, especially
Misissippian culture ), artifact reproduction and poetry. In general, I am just another soul on this
Earth trying to make it through this existence by asking the same age-old questions and seeking
those elusive answers. I began writing a few years ago as part of that process, more or less.
