Hello I am Kimberly and I enjoy the simple things in life. My husband and I enjoy watching old movies (Hope, Cagney, Lewis, Martin). We have 4 kids not all at home. My husband is former U.S. Navy (Go Navy!) Some of my poems are being reformatted as song lyrics and may be purchased from me only. I am published with Creative Communication my "pen name: Kimberly S. Mathis-Shumaker. I am the oldest of three girls and had my maiden name added after my father passed away. I am not happy with current campaign strategy (waving ribbons/medals)...Far too many suffered and gave their lives in Nam, to brag about self inflicted methods in order to be sent home quickly. If I had faced the horrors or knew that I was about to...I am weak and who's to say how I would behave.
