I am a Mother of 3 and a Grandmother of 4. My husband and I met in High School and married young. We have two girls and one boy who are grown. We have been married for 41 years. I live in the state of North Dakota. I am an amatuer poet, I do this strictly for fun. I have been writing poems off and on for the past 15 years. I write mainly about things I am emotional about. I love this site and am excited to be able to add a poem or two. I am learning a lot about poetry by checking this site. Some of you have asked---I go by Gerri Actual name is Alberta Geraldine, now you know why I go by "Gerri" That is what my friends call me, remember that!! HA!
