I usually write about an event that has occured in my life. Most of the poetry I have written is very personal. I suffer from low self-esteem, and writing poetry is one way I feel good about myself. I would not go so far as to call myself a poet, but I do enjoy putting my thoughts and feelings on paper. I appreciate any and all criticism, and look forward to submitting many poems.
