I am 40 something. I am a singer/songwriter/performer and much of my poetry is
based in song lyric composition. I like to write initially in streams of
consciousness to help me come up with catchy sounding verse and then build on from
there. I feel as many do, a sanctuary in the written verse and I find, when I go
there, my free will for creativity. I know sometimes my verse seems to not make sense
, but of course in eventuality it has great meaning, whether for someone else or
for me only.
