I think the soft anonymous option is a great idea. I am enjoying reading poems and critiques before knowing the author, just to improve my objectivity. I also am testing myself to see how well I know all of your writing styles, which, so far, is not nearly as well as I thought! :) Those of us who put our names at the bottom of our poems should put them lower, or leave them off althogether, if we want to take advantage of the soft anonymous feature. Thanks for this option, Chris.

Chris, True to your promise you have put up the section for info and photos. Thank you so much for doing that for everyone. You know what they say, " A picture is wroth a thousand words. " Now I hope the patrons of the site use it. I am eager to meet all you fellow poet friends I have come to know. Please put your face in your ink blots on paper. :O} If Chris is willing to put his, his lovely wife's and soon his beautiful babies picture up for view, surely we can put ours up for view too. I haven't figured out how to put my photo on a site with http://www as yet but, if you click `my favorite URL` I have listed you will see my photo and a bit of info about me. HELLO EVERYONE,What can I say that hasn't already been said before about the poetic link. there are so many people with fantastic work hidden in the bottom draw, What will happen to it when we fall off the perch, Into the rubbish bin I bet. Well thanks, thanks and many more thanks to Christopher Moore that may not be the case now because he has given us all the chance to either entertain or bore each other with our poetry and believe me I am very new to the link and so far I have not found any boring ones, they have all been exellent and well worth reading I would dearly love to be able to sit here on my butt and critiqe every last one of them but the job I have to do does not allow me that much spare time and believe me, my job is one I do by choice, not neccetiy because we are bee keepers and who in their right mind would take on that proffession so now we say we are not retired JUST TIRED.Thanks ever so much Cristopher, As if I haven't given you enough headaches already I will add this little message for all to follow.GET THEM OUT THE CUBOARD, GET THEM OUT THE DRAWERS, SEND THEM TO THE POET LINK, BEFORE SOMEONE THROWS THEM OUT THE DOOR Thanks Thelma

I start everday usually with the link to read the exceptional poetry, like most would read their nespaper. This place is food for thought, and a very good thing I have already met more friends than I ever knew existed. Thanks Chris.

I have never called myself a poet. Until I found The Poetic Link 6 weeks ago, I had only written a few poems and I had never shown them to anyone outside of family and a few close friends. Thanks to Chris, and to all of you, I am beginning to believe that one day I will not only call myself a poet, but I will let myself believe that I am one. Thank you for your patience with my long critiques, and your kind support of my poems. I am indebted to Poeticlink for providing me a place to learn, and to all of you for being my teachers. Regina

I guess this would be the best place to post this so...I noticed that all of you who participated were kind enough to rate my poem, "The Kingdom of the Passing Thought", high enough to earn a prize for the month of April. I want to thank all of you for that kindness and also for all your suggestions and comments.
