Daybreak Cool morning air flows through the sun flower curtained window, drifting like the feathery tufted clouds enhancing the mountain view, as I sip freshly brewed coffee, inhaling melodious warblings of finches perched on the feeder below me, their colors blending like autumn highlights, echoed by smoky gray squirrels, snaking zig zag like among the oak strewn lawn, as I sigh, mellow as the slightly swaying trees, lounging complacently, absorbed in the rhythm of an early Saturday morn. |
