Tongue In Cheek! Suffice it to say, My way is not yours. Expectations will be my Possible down fall. I’ve tried hard to eliminate “shoulds, coulds, and woulds.” Another is “I can’t. Limits. All negatives. “But” is another, When our lives are filled with, so much, pain, and sorrow, and suffering, It’s easy to drop off the superlatives. Patients use these words often. Expectations creep into my world on a daily basis especially when it comes to “my” children. I’m at that age now where it doesn’t matter. Or “should” it? Guilt words “Shoulda, coulda, woulda” all easy to say, not easy to live with! Remember “Gone With The Wind?” “I don’t give a damn!” Oh but I do, I may say it, But I do! Give a damn that is. I don’t want to think BUT it’s so damn hard. Too damn hard. Why, why, why? Oh give it up Arnie! Take a pill! That’s the answer! Take a pill! Oh little white one - Do your thing, Take all my troubles and cares away. Oh little magic pill! |
