Profound Answers

Searching, for exactly what, I wasn't sure; asking, but afraid to listen too closely. Wandering, longing for lasting peace; wondering, if happiness is to be found. Alone, completely in a crowd, faceless strangers, altogether too insecure to reach out for comfort. Avoiding hidden pain with all my business; going numb from ignoring the wound. I'm sure there is something more to life than my mortal eye can see. Softly, I feel a gentle hand upon my shoulder, but I look around to see no one standing there. When my faith is shaken by the test, I listen for a voice my ear cannot perceive. His presence is unexplainable, but as real as the restless wind. Blowing through my mind in truth, quieting my turmoil with trust. My bruised ego rests as my spirit listens; hearing subtle whispers... Hope is shining in the eyes of your child. Beauty hides in the soft petals of a rose. Strength is found in the embrace of a friend Grace flows only from a heart of forgiveness Peace flourishes in the simplicity of trust Love can only be enjoyed if it is shared Love and Faith heal the heart and soul, where drugs have no power to penetrate. Too simple for most,  Our search continues, for we seek more profound answers.
