Green?

       My favorite color        Has always been blue        The deep color of the sky          Unlimited and free        But sometimes cold and bitter          Blue is unforgiving        You’d best be prepared        If you want to ride the wind          Lately I feel green calling me        The lush color of nature        Reborn each spring          Inviting me to walk        Or just quietly sit          It’s easy to be         A part of green        Comfortable to blend in          Sometimes though        I still feel the siren call of blue
