Texas Has Nolan Ryan

......and his speech is "unrefiyund." Y'all can never know how it grates to speak with a drawl. Every phrase reverberates with a provincial air, a careless-country accent. I might recite the bard's great lines: "To be-uh or not to be-uh" and the beauty is defiled. A drawl conveys lack of grace and invites ridicule even when one wins the Nobel prize for espying the buckyball, our state molecule. Judge not my words by twang nor any other thang but by gist and by content. Y'all heard the drawl but I betcha dint mi-yus what I me-yunt.
