The Engagement Of Two Foreigners

(And the days dwindled down to a precious few...) The silver bird delivered  its cargo Precious cargo from Canada 3000 Kilometres to the USA From frozen tundra, snow up to the hips Face exposed showing his blue lips Now racing across the tarmac Two once distant lovers began a lip lock Shaking and giggling schoolish tears The curtain has dropped , now no more fears Ol' brown eyes met young blue eyes 'twas more than they could surmise Through the glass all the people could see Was the red nosed clown and his beautiful fishee Now at last together everyone can stop their wonder And let no man or woman put them asunder
