Breaking Out I was told if I told the plane would explode. A move that's bold if I dared. So I tried not to cry for mommy said I should not tell lies. I was scared. A lifetime for someone whose been undone - chaos begun. Folks just stared. If the plane to explode, goodbye to my hold, all I know folds. No one cares. Some visions astounding, voices come pounding, terror pouring. My head blares. Yet the plane shattered - And still I spoke my truth Reclaimed a lost youth. Their lies uncouth Had stolen. ... I had dared. I had Dared. |
