nightmare

Ceaseless dreams that I can not fight, Tuanting nightmares through the night. And here I am waiting to try, Hoping one day I'll learn to fly. So when they return as they always do, I can be gone and no longer blue. The purification that my soul seeks, Is partly due to the secrets it keeps. I've run and run but it does not help, I can't escape the fear I have felt. So when next you choose your innocent prey, Remember what you did that day. The day your hormones came to mind, The day the neighbors came to find. And when they all were aware and knew, And when with my life you were through. I did not understand it way back then, But now I know just why, why then.     YOU ARE SICK, AND I A CHILD.
