Chloe

The Jack and the Beanstalk four O'clocks straying from cedar window box announce her present  living space. The blue-shuttered street speaks in whispers of Chloe in lemonade cotton, brown bare feet. She sings to flowers in their cedar box, brown wrens, to children running around the block, to rainbow bend, to a chocolate lab crossing the street, to her brown bare feet.
