It’s Okay

It’s okay to be angry with God I’m sure he understands. There’s so little we can comprehend Being mortal men. Perhaps we’re much like puppies Being paper trained After each puddle on the floor He picks us up again We may even take a swipe As an upset kitten might “Leave me alone, what are you doing? Messing with my life?” I think what does distress God Is not when we curse our fate But when we let our anger Fester into hate It’s that destructive power The Creator must abhor For anger won’t consume us But hate will, that’s for sure.
