Flowering Plum Trees

Above the new green lawns of Emerald Park the swallows turn and soar in springtime's dance, while hummingbirds sip nectar, sweet and dark and all the land is filled with wild romance. The apple and the oak spread side by side, wide branches, plump with leaves and new grown seeds, while plum trees on the hill wind music sighed sweet messages to trembling, frail pond reeds. A living wave of pink plum blossoms spread along their branches, bending with sweet weight as early morning sun turns pink to red one lonely dove calls softly for a mate. I see such beauty everywhere in life it tears my heart with wonder and delight.
