4:48 AM a leg tossed carelessly across your thighs breasts pressed close to your side I watch you sleep a peaceful emptiness on your face Do you dream of me? In this moment you are as much my possession as I am yours, though neither of us will ever admit it Wary of waking you with my cold fingertips but longing to touch, I place them in my mouth I trace the line where our bodies meet unable to tell who is who down to your fingers, how I adore your piano-playing hands your deep sleep amuses me once you came and kissed my sleeping form and left, I will never forgive you now I hover above, my breath mingling with yours I wait for you to feel the feather light pressure of my lips upon yours. |
