The Web Inevitable

Week by week  I see it now, Relentless, unyielding A malicious web constricting  Slowly, methodically Dame Dementia weaves She takes her time, The outcome is certain With every loop Something is lost A hazy shadow forever trapped Behind ethereal curtain I wait, for that very first time By now a familiar look Straining to see, To remember,  but he can’t, it’s too much At long last the Web will cover ………Me
