My Sleepy Lips Original and Rewrite My Sleepy lips original My sleepy lips, and drowsy hips Would not respond,to hands that bond The fingers sweet, trying to treat A body which, just wouldn't twitch Your mouth believed, it could retrieve What I had lost, while I had tossed In shallow streams,of vacant dreams At least a hint, would give a glint Of hope that I, would more than lie But would arise,To calling thighs Instead I'm spent, and so silent With nothing done, hardly begun And yet I stop, with nothing propped While you have kept, where your heart lept Anticipate, that I'll relate Live in lifes hope, that you can rope Passion thats still, and make it spill Anticipate, that I'll relate Live in lifes hope, that you can rope Passion thats still, and make it spill Copyright © June 2000 James Edward Schanne Rewrite Rest drags across my mouth to bed my lips undercover fingers tracking a bond a drowsiness swings then circles the hips handy codes feeling the skin unrespond an agent of faith gives sweet filling breath infiltrating treats refuse to be lost to missions that position to retrieve what shallow streams of vacant dreams have tossed hope rises recalled by thighs refusing the silence of spent emotions lying still in passions nodding off mid choosing yet a touching eye of sighs pleads whying fleshed out love sings loudly crying “ awake” sensuous melodies straddles then shake |
