Still Memories Collapse

The dead no longer scratch nor swat the flys still tongues do not answer” whats eating them?” Birds pluck, no longer filling empty eyes cannot lend an ear to a beggars hem tear ducts are bone dry leaving lines of salt the wind blows over not inside of chests no labors' delusion grows overwrought within what the last position suggests the bodies clock gives not a tick of blood coagulating vessels brewing cold the skin steeped in pale retreat of the flood of responses once innate, sharp and bold   angels grip in guidance when spirits roam while flesh returns, to its natural home
