I Miss Her

An old man is compelled to stay up until dawn? I lost my wife, sleeping comes hard to the forlorn. He dreads the coming of those dark hours in the night, Anguishing over the approach of the dawn's light. Stays awake those long hours that never take  flight, She'll appear as the mist embraces the day's light?
