The Magic Vase

I'll tell you a secret, Dear Ladies & Gents, there's more in this vase than just dollars and cents. There's food for the hungry and sight for the blind, there're clothes for the naked and thought for the mind. This magic elixir will cure all your ills, much better than liquor or vitamin pills. Clear up all your feelings of guilt and distress, once you've used the potion, this vase you will bless. The formula's easy, just a stretch of the hand, down into you pocket,  "Works just like I'd planned!" Activate fingers, grab only your pence, toss them into the vase, now let it commence. With muscles relaxing and head aching gone, you feel like a person who has just been reborn. You gave up your pennies, but you don't really care, it's a wonderful feeling when you learn how to  give broke people all your spare change.

Additional Notes:
I know, I know, I know, some of you have already read (part of) this, BUT . . .this is THE ORIGINAL, written on a piece of cardboard in approximately 1970 (I was 20)(really!!!) and put next to this huge purple vase I had in my living room. I did not know what had happened to it until today, when my mother emailed to tell me she had collected it AND THE ORIGINAL OF THE POEM from a cousin she gave it to about 20 years ago. I am tickled to have the original back. (It is another silly one, tho)
