Additional Notes:
Okay. I'm sure many of you are wondering first of all about the language. It is written in the style of a french speaking Canadian speaking English (English not being his mother tongue). Being originally from Quebec, Canada I know all to well how they speak in English. This is the true story of one of the greatest goal tenders in hockey. He played for the Montreal Canadiens. The "see haitch" is CH which stands for Club de Hockey. He used the mask only in practices up to that point. In one game he did get struck in the face. His coach wanted him to play (at that time hockey only carried one goalie)and he, the goalie named Jacques Plante, said he would only play if he could wear his mask, and that's how history was made in hocky = Canada's beloved game. I was not going to offer any explantions to the above story and let you the reader's figure it out...but changed my mind. Oh, "la rondelle" is the puck. Game on!
