He scores no longer

His shot splintered boards, and Tore the back off goal nets He invented the slap shot They named him “Boom Boom” He played with the likes of Henri, “the Pocket Rocket” Richard, and  “The Rocket” Maurice Richard The Pocket, The Rocket, and the Boom Boom What a formidable trio They all played for the Rouge, Blanc, et Bleu The Montreal Canadiens A famed hockey team And Boom Boom was one of the best Bernard Boom Boom, Number 5 - died today The Montreal Forum will be a tad quieter now
