Hall of mirrors or side show?

“Will that be a local or long distance call sir?” I don’t know. I’ve never heard of such a thing before. “Well do you speak English, or Arabic or Hebrew?” I can speak a little Hebrew, I replied “Oh well then, it will be a local call”. “Hello. To whom do you wish to talk to?” the voice asked. I want to talk to God, I said. “I’m sorry. He’s very busy right now. Call back later. Much later.” Angered, I slammed down the phone, and then woke up. This got me to thinking. Does God really answer calls? Once Moses tapped a rock and got water. Jesus supposedly raised the dead. What am I to believe? Do I lack praying power? Do I even know how to pray? Exactly what is prayer? Do religious men and women ever “hear” from Him? I mean a real voice that others can hear also… Or is it all just smoke and mirrors
