Infinite Grace

Quiet eyes and quiet breath ripe with life,       defying death The hills and vales I’ve crossed left me weary, spent,       and lost But when silence cheers and blesses all leas of       moaning grasses I’ll adore the moon, caress the dawn, frolic in rain and       dampened lawn When fairies fly in amber sky with winsome ways       that mystify  When I’m light of heart, bright of face I’ll wander unto       His infinite grace

Oh Marilyn this is so spiritual and breathtaking..I just love it..It flows along in grace and I mean that sincerely. This is such a uplifting write, made my spirit smile and flow along with your lines. "Quiet eyes and quiet breath ripe with life, defying death The hills and vales I’ve crossed left me weary, spent, and lost" love the rhyme in this as well..and the thought behind it.

Marilyn, Let's hope we can die lighthearted.....I would think more 'finished' with life and ready to move on. I like your winsome ways and hope that's how it goes. I like your sweet innocence. I love the dance of life you emit. Charming poem from a charming lady![of course] my best Dellena

Why wander unto His infinite grace? Why don't you just run towards Him and jump right in? Just a stupid remark I know, but it's the first thing that came to (my) mind after reading this... So,you want to know how you did? Okay. Rhyming is good. Content fair. Title shitty! Oops. Did I say that? What I don't like to see is the same title that's used somewhere in the body of the poem which in your case is the last line. Okay...go ahead and hit me. But personally speaking, I don't think you take the time to figure out an appropriate title...OUCH...that hurts! teehee.

Hi Marilyn, Most of your poems submitted lately give me a vernal feeling, full of life. Here, my fav expression is: "But when silence cheers and blesses all leas of moaning grasses, I’ll adore the moon, caress the dawn, frolic in rain and dampened lawn" I like the childlike countenance of the character in the poem, wandering and submitting herself unto God's infinite grace, no matter what! God bless you with more energy for your own and for the persons around you! Jordan

Marilyn, Good cadence, like the rhyme and definitely easy flowing. This was the perfect read for me this AM since I have a window open getting the early morning crisp air and your poem swept me away to another place, another time, one of peace, contentment and wonder. Thank you for the sharing, this is a soft delicate treasure. Best always, Lora

Dear Marilyn, Beautiful write, and lately your pieces, are more impressive each time I read one. I feel youth, speaking in the first stanza, and follow your path, as written, to his infinite grace. You have used some very melodic lines, combined with passion that makes this poem endearing to this reader. "I'll adore the moon, caress the dawn, frolic in rain and dampened lawn", (great rhyming scheme here) I don't see anything in this poem, that could possibly be changed. I've enjoyed this read, just as you wrote it. Good luck with this one, Sincerely, Denimari
