Life in the slowest lane. It goes on and on and on

I used to like the rah-rah stuff The pom-poms The short skirts The tight sweaters showing    Well rounded boobs All that stuff that was part of me    for four years at university Now that I am old(er) I like to sit and watch   and hear the ocean’s musical waves   the idyllic motion of flotsam on the water   the mating rituals of Black Oystercatchers That’s what I do now   Sit, watch, and meditate After all I am old and retired
