Somnus everlasting

I dreamed a dream    That I was young I dreamed a dream    That I was full of song    Of melodies I dreamed a dream     That I could write    Meaningful tomes     That the world would hear I dreamed a dream    That my father was alive    And my mother alongside him I dreamed a dream of family I dreamed that my children    Stood by my side    Not in death    But in this lifetime Dare I to dream? Dare I to write melodies? I only have my dreams    To hold me up    With my wife here What more do I need? Perchance to dream? And then no moreā€¦
