My Beloved MY BELOVED I have searched in the darkness of my unknowing -- a seemless eternity, for a glimpse of your form..... My tears resurface at eventide as your face remains a mystery to my dreams-- My soul cries for the knowledge of your touch and pleads for your revelation. My heart adheres no comfort from the tortures of my restless mind. My inner knowing is but a beacon in the night-- A call unanswered. My pain is echoed in the ocean's breeze - upon the ears of the deaf, with hopes only that you might catch a glimpse of the ocean's mist upon your lips and bid it return to me. Where are you, Oh keeper of my heart? Where are you, Inspiration of my soul-- who alone can move me to the powers of all creation. I release my prayers forth into the ether that they might be heard by my consummate Creator. My knees are bent in reverence and adoration-- Be still my heart, and listen. Be still my heart, and hear. Be STILL. |
