Self Catharsis

We (I) grew up with nine Now there are eight I feel cheated It was yellow carded How about that! A planet, small and way out there Now I wonder Am I that small and way out there? I have been yellow carded by some of my children I am reminded of my favorite poem “The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner” I sit, wonder, and wait perusing my fate! Oh Lord, give me the strength to understand the things I do not know… Today I shall go to the water… Do not throw the pearls away For I am richer than those that do
