The Power Of The Pen

In black ink  I pen markings  upon a piece of paper to express my sentiment. I must write so you will read and you may possibly identify with me. You relate and experience with what is written to whatever extent  you do desire. If I stretch out  with my emotions and we touch we could have understanding.    I extend my pen in hand in friendship.

How lovely Del...........I honestly feel you reaching out to me across those thousand's of miles that separate us; I love reading your written word for it touches my heart and my soul in many ways. Good form, super word flow, I pray your pen never runs dry. Merry Christmas my friend and may the Lord bless you always, Love, Claire

Awe, Dellena. You've definately expressed yourself with this one. We all have different reasons for writing, and at times even we stray from those. I try to portray the times, the reactions, and the things people share ie...current events. I'm not good at being friendly (lol). If I stretch out with my emotions >>these are awesome words. Short and to the point, yet touching and inviting. and we touch we could have understanding. I must write so you will read and you may possibly identify with me. >>>this is my least favorite verse. It's well written and definately should be a part of this work, but I can't say that my poetry 'fits' that sentiment. Maybe that is where I am lacking. The work is perfectly written and goes on my list this month. Smiles to you! Ellen

Simply, but with impacting purity, Dellena, you portray the writer's almost spiritual imperative to write. As denigrated as it so often might be, you step forward with a disarming innocence the anti-intellectual, I'm certain, must find a rebuke. To them, these minimalists of all that is possible in mankind, we can only write to, "show off". Anything finer must, in their poorly developed scope, be purely pretense. I'm certain this will be a definite requirement for the thought police idiots like Gingrich promotes...to be a dolt self- satisfied in your doltdom, even sublimated in it. I know of no other meaningful way to reach another than: "I extend my pen in hand in friendship". Yes. JCH
