Easy

when even ease isn't easy earning empathy return it please of challenge, orbits in time escape velocity not captured by the heat of noon only water my vine burning everything's fine with a breeze dig out the coffin brew up the coffee leave behind the clothes stand naked in the moon above leave the garments of shame sacrifice, duty, obligation in no man's path yearning I kneel beside you, in front of you, on my knees and recite The Name and we can be new by breathed degrees with love with love with love the water of life the universal solvent flowing, knowing returning are, was, is easy

Additional Notes:
This poem came to me, thinking about the ebb and flow of ease in our lives, and how sometimes our relationship with it seems terribly stressful and full of struggle and other times not. What is odd is that this seems to matter relatively little as to circumstances, but rather how we think about our circumstances that matters more, what thoughts bubble up in relation to them. I feel very on top of my thought patterns at the moment, although maybe I am silently constructing something behind, who knows? Om, DurgaDas

Hi Regis...it is so true that our lives ebb and flow...don't know which I like the most. In the line...with love, with love, with love...I think I would delete two 'with love' as it doesn't add anything to the meaning of the poem. To me the poem seems to be a plea for love to be returned to you. If that is the case I hope she returns your love. Marilyn
