Happily Missing Potential

The future beckons with promises to wipe out the past providing normality which we fear does not exist. The past grabs hold like a mother saving her son promising to keep nourishing within the severed status. The mixed minded hopeless dreamer knows the tragedy of watching the body float to destiny. Reality strikes with each beat shaking images of fear, love, tears...the core is detached from our essence.

Hi Mick, Excellent thought provoking piece you have penned here. Yes, the future can only beckon yet, holds no promises. And your description of the past as a mother trying to save her son is breathtaking! I look forward to reading more of your work. Rene'

Rich thoughts in highly striking expression, Mr. Fraser. Almost Elizabethan. Break these complete sentences up into imagery less astute to purpose so that what is FELT becomes just a tantamount to such purpose as what is understood more intellectually. Give room for the reader's mind to roam. Therein is gel by which our empathetic commonality obtains common bond. In the moment the sparrow catches the soul, so the fleeting enjoinment of joining clarity with another. And all other communication becomes, in comparison, preached text. Obviously you yearn for more. JCH
