I can always tell where your poetic yearnings are going, Dellena. It is an emotional strength thing. Although many feel "emotional strength" is obtained only through repressing feelings, the real strength is in being able to employ them wisely. And you do. JCH

Thank you Dellena; for you support on my poem Mother's Boy. It came from deep within my heart; as do all of my emotions over his loss. I was hoping - this poem would be scored on it's merit; and not the emotional pull from the reality of the poem. The Blossoms Eye; was so compelling - one of my favs - and your Spaces was really wonderful. So Alone was one of my favorites for the month - Terry makes it look so easy; and Lora's With In; another fine example of her talent as a poet. Her imagery amazes me. I'm looking forward to May - and hoping the few new members are a sign of revival here at TPL..... Wouldn't that be nice - to see more poets again - Chris should offer new members at least two credits to get started - I had actually hesitated to pay to post back when...lol.....but realized that this site promised so much more than any other on-line. It was well worth the cost, but that may deter new poets from joining. Skeptical, you know? In any case; let's keep writing - blessings, Deni

Hi Dellena, Thank you so much for your consideration of Flesh Of Life. You made a late start in April and I'm sure a lot of us wondered where you are at. Thanks for being a prominent part of TPL. It was an excellent month in terms of critiques and submissions with the exception that Mark S has not been around. He's been a key player in the survival of this site. I hope we are as robust in the month of May. Thanks again, Duane.
