Blame Years ago we wedded as one, Tickles and giggles, lots of unblemished fun. Firery eyes, fervent delight, Fantasy gone, you’ve drifted from sight. Once mutually as one in the same, Look at us now, who is to blame? A decorous life we’ve had as a team, Like rivers dried, or a dishonored beam. Squandered in a vision of sempiternity. Guffaw, drama, we had a exalted life, What went iniquitous, created the strife? With Love and indulgence, I ask you the same, Look at us now, who is to blame? |
