I Can Imagine

I can imagine the way you bathe, the shimmer of drops on your breast as you rise, slowly. I can imagine the sheer slide of silk as you dress, easily, slowly. I can imagine you brushing your hair, the brush slipping slowly through bronze, slowly, easily. I can imagine the gleam of your lips as you smooth on gloss, tasting it, slowly. I can imagine you saying 'Good morning' to me. 'Will that be everything?' you ask, and grab my check.
