Memories Lost

Ever thought of yesterday, and wondered what went by-- Looked into tomorrow, knowing time can fly. Passing from the when to now, with just a glimpse or glance-- Wishing for an extra day, time for a second chance. Looking for the memories, that all lay in the past-- Hoping with all your heart, those memories will last. Then tragedy strikes, age takes its toll-- Your memories sucked straight from your soul. You walk with a wobble, you breath with a wheeze-- You’ve contracted the dreaded Alzheimer’s Disease. So always remember, when your young and in your prime-- Give your family good memories, give them all the time.

Additional Notes:
I was just sitting outside thinking of my father as he lay in his bed with this dreaded Disease. It was the only thing that my father was ever afraid of in his life, was loss of his thoughts. Cherish every moment of time and good health that you have, for life is way to short.
