Taking Stock Lord, I know I'm not perfect But, oh how I'd like to be It would make it so much easier To critize others mistakes that I see Because somehow it doesn't quite end When other's faults I point out and define They just listen and wait until I'm finished Then they start pointing out mine So, before I start to speak now Of their faults on a list on the shelf I find it much easier to leave them there After I first take stock of myself © 7-05-2000 by Donna Saulsman Friedrichs |
