Additional Notes:
I will be posting these results on the forum shortly. The highlight for the month was Mark H's consistently amazing submissions - Base Camp was special, with its setting and haunting appeal. I liked Mark S's utopia (noting that it had posted shortly after my mention of the word on the forum). My kind of poem with the philosophy and rhyme all intertwined. Tenured was, for me, the most original. I like what TEW did with this. It was absorbing, deceptively prose looking but very much poetry with its subtle rhyme and inner layers. Strands was one of JCH's best pieces. I liked Cheyenne's 'My Quill', IMO the stronger of her submissions in Feb - all the makings of my kind of poetry - short, well structured and fluently rhymed. Terry's poem was one of the more humorous of the month and a longed for breath of fresh air to clear the heavy air. Ghost winds by Lora was image rich and to end it we have Dellena's Fire gazer which I felt was the better piece when compared to the Gloved one. It had more power image wise and was more absorbing - with the warmth of the crackling fire.

Hey Duane, at least you remembered to post your points with your choices. I've been having so many problems voting - I wrote my picks down without the points, Oh well, think I'll be forgiven. Wonderful choices, and reasons for how you voted. I loved MSS Waiting...a lot of talent coming out here. blessings, Deni
