My Future

A God I’m really tired, but its that year B They say you have the whole world to gain A That you should face the future without fear B Colleges, applications, what a pain C A pain yes, but its also required D My days stretch into weeks and into months C My parents mention I’m not inspired D Sorry guys, I know this isn’t a stunt E The future is now, a U.C. is the key F People say it all pays off in the end E I can’t second-guess or doubt, I can’t flee. F The road is long, can I reach past this bend? G I’m not a four student, is that enough? G I need to see if I can be that tough.

Additional Notes:
U.C. stands for the University of California school system. Examples include Davis, UCLA, and Berkeley. The letters along the side denote the rhyme scheme. For example the 'A' lines rhyme with 'A' lines, and so on. It just helps me when I write sonnets.
