Our Story Two hundred pages and then some more A year in emails opened hearts’ doors To witness in each, one’s afflictions To release, let go, our restrictions Some were short and some were long Some fit in and some don’t belong But three stories told throughout the year Three lives were changed forever clear Of troubles, toils, sorrow and loss Lessons learned at pricey costs One has died since that time She watches over yours and mine As we continue down this path The journey heals with hopes to last |

A pleasing easy to read poem done in couplets with good rhyme that does not seem at all forced was a pleasure to read. You've said so much in so few words--taken from the start to the end-like a journal. Very nicely done, no nits or spags. Lora
