Thankful Days Walk

Autumn is fine each day in the season is what is with time. Aged to the end towards new beginnings again as the colors mesmerize  the holidays before our eyes. Every sated days have passed with "thanks" while dismay has challenged us to pass Tests with falling time the damaged leaves bid promise of hope around bare trees What was has changed another year shifted and rearranged. While in each heart damned good reasons of life remain.

Additional Notes:
Sorry for my absence for November especially with reading and commenting on everyone's poems. A personal issue came up with my beautiful daughter Dana, and I was with her out of state for two weeks helping her and my three grandsons - ages 17,
and 10. Grateful to be home before the holiday with knowing my visit helped her. if I see one poem here that says "Happy Turkey Day".......hmmm - no never here!

Deni, A delightful, refreshing piece. It is good to see your post again. This flows well and the images speak clearly. "...as the colors mesmerize the holidays before our eyes." Thank you for this line, it gives me a way to express a boding anxiety that i often feel in the autumn/fall. Holidays are not always easy, yet I love autumn. your line, for me, describes how something wonderful can send me into a tale spin of something not so great. But yet, still within "damned good reasons of life remain." Thanks for this write! Mandie

Yes, Deni, I wish you the best for the holiday seasons. Your poem reminds gently that we need to be thankful for all things, each season has its own gifts just as each day does. Your poem flows easily down the page like a leaf floating to ground. Hope all is better with you. Nice write. Lora

Poignant, a very well written, poignant image. I particularly liked the "tests with falling time", and promises presented in the changing and falling leaves. It is reminiscent of the ressurection, maybe of life or otherwise. "damned good reasons of life remain". What can one image beyond that? "Colors Mesmerize"- there in the issuance of the season is the reason for coninuation, "holidays" notwithstanding, or maybe bacuase of such. Very well done.
