Inner Beauty

On the eastern slope of the mountain side Babbling brooks started their slide Flower petals blossomed in colors bright Snakes and bugs scurried from sight But a wait, listen, more to be told Inside the mountain, look and behold A treasure so brilliant and bright Prismatic colors glow from the stalagmite Ancient drawings on the walls Liquid flowing from fresh waterfalls Gold gleaming, silver shining bright Inside this mountain hidden from sight Walk through the porthole of time long past Inner beauty and inspirations much too vast Part the inner beauty, leave her at dawn Reminisce what you've witnessed before it's gone

Additional Notes:
This is a rewrite of my earlier version, incorporating some very good suggestion from all of you. "Doris, did I make it for you this time"? Thanks for all the help.
