Being one who writes sci-fi that often deals with dimensions; this piece first captures my vision and then listens to yours. An odd paradox, interdimensionally you might say.
your science is impeccable; of course time, tied to the universe and matter- know no bounds aside from that relationship- "no bounds" of course a metaphor for existence, but more so-
in "mystery" is everthing. Even those things known are not fathomed to the depth of what they are. It is as it is.
"sand slips fast" - an odd perspective on time is the true perspective- that as we add experience the time remaining is a ration to the volume of the experience. The more one has lived, spent time, and increased in experience, the faster time seems in relation because the ration to what was and what is grows smaller. Some even believe time is affected by that very experience and for each person flows at different rates. Interesting.
"Glass" for me is the observer who sees time and realizes thier own brief existence in this world; a temporal visit that will undoubtedly be exceeded by time and universe.
I like this piece very much; it is more than its parts.
