UNCLE RONNIE This poem is dedicated to Aunt Dede as a remembrance to her loving husband, and my Uncle.
When Uncle Ronnie heard the news
Of being very ill,
He knew his days were numbered
Yes, it was God's will.
When Jesus opened up his arms
And said "Come home my Son,
Your life on earth is over
Your battle here is done."
So...
When Uncle Ronnie left this earth
To Join our Lord above,
Trumpets blared and Angels sang
Greeting him with love.
God knew he was a loving man
A family man at best,
Always serving others
Before he took a rest.
That's why he's now an Angel
To lend God a helping hand,
To spread his love and kindness
All across the land.
Until our days are also up,
He'll wait for us above,
Holding out his open arms
Embracing us with Love.
