Not a poem DON'T VOTE ON THIS "As things are, and as fundamentally they must always be, poetry is not a career, but a mug's game. No honest poet can ever feel quite sure of the permanent value of what he has written: He may have wasted his time and messed up his life for nothing."....T.S. Eliot |

The only counter to this is: I as a poet, write for myself.
It helps me see myself and is therefore usually a valuable tool that would NEVER mess up my
life only enhance it for being able to view life differently. TS Elliot is full of poo.
I need never question if my time were wasted.
ever, even if I were a bad writer.
