Lips Whisper

Before the hearth the heat of swaying blaze in silent softness life seeks to escape Love lingers there among the lace and haze when truth becomes one of two in its shape Then lips will whisper words that echo sound the age-old search for love begins again as curves seek the rhythms more than profound forever weaves as passion’s reign is fain Upon the linin bed that virtue claims and even now your fingers weave my sighs when twilight stars romance our very names indelible memory never dies

Cheyenne, I admire your style and the way you 'weave' your words. I know you put alot of your life into your work and that is awesome. Having said that, I must admit this piece was hard to read. I had to reread it and put each stanza into place in my mind, trying to carry the thoughts over to the next....In the end I am still not sure how they all fit. Sorry...I think I missed something. But I wanted to express how I feel about it and I hope you dont mind. ~smile? hope so! Ellen

Such a tenderly written love poem. It is perfected with the flow no hesitation at all through this piece. Imagery is amazing as well. Love has the ability to bring so much pleasure in life and you've captured pieces that others would never know of unless through your written words. I love it Cheyenne - it's the best poem I've read this month. Incredible! blessings, Deni
