Marilyn Terwilleger -- Cheyenne It is with heavy heart that I write you this note.
A dear and beloved friend of ours has passed away.
My buddy and your friend; Marilyn Terwilleger
aka: Cheyenne died of natural causes on November 10, 20
at 8:00 AM in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Her children and grand-children
were able to spend her last days with her. The light is a little dimmer
for all of us now that she has passed... I'm still trying to comprehend
how to carry on--no more phone calls or cards, no more poems or late
night discussions. We will all miss her and her wonderful poetry
very much and will cherish her words with fond memory. |

Lora,
Sad news.
I had not conversed with Marilyn for quite awhile, but she was a presence here.
I am sorry for your loss of such a good friend.

Sad news, I will miss her poems as well. Oddly as, "Cheyenne", Marilyn's poetry took on more youthfulness, more sensuality. Perhaps the acquired personna contained a life of its own. RIP Marilyn/Cheyenne. JCH

We that are loved are never truly gone
We are recalled
We are rejoiced
We are remembered
And is that not a true measure of a person
the litmus test of there being
Your poem has told volumes of a woman unknown to me
But she sounds like a keeper
for memories, for hopes and for
dreams

My sincerest sympathy to you Lora as well as her close family and friends. I hadn't been aware that she was posting here as Cheyenne and can say she will be dearly missed. Marilyn was always a source of inspiration and my interactions here @TPL will always be remembered. Her lovely caring ways for others along with her talent as a gifted writer will live on here as well in the hearts of all she had impact with. May God bless and give everyone comfort, peace and strength. RIP Sweet Marilyn; I am a better person for having known you.
