Next Time...This Time (Slightly Revised) Next Time... My fear will not always control my fate I will believe in ME from the very beginning I won't need to be told that who I am is OK I'll know how to be soft and strong at the same time Pursuing my dreams will be the FIRST thing I do - not the last I will consider ALL of the of possibilities This Time... I'll ask all the right questions before I give my heart and soul away I'll be the priority and not just an option I won't have to ask - he'll want to without me saying He'll make time and not just make excuses I'll feel a love and a peace like I've never known I will find the sanctuary that has eluded me for so long The NEXT time will be the BEST time |

I should print this and place it on the wall. Read it every morning with my coffee while remembering all that I wish my new year to be. This poem is a stark statement. a moving memo of how I wish my life to be. We all deserve the sediments of this poem. Should we find the courage to make them happen. Thank you for the uplifting passages of this work
